The publisher of The Call of Woonsocket and The Times of Pawtucket is stepping down at the end of the month.
Michael Moses told newspaper staffers of his decision in a letter released yesterday. Moses’ departure comes roughly two months after the Journal Register Company sold the two newspapers.
The company also sold The Kent County Daily Times and a group of weekly newspapers to a Delaware-based company. Moses said in the letter that his last day with the papers would be March 30th.
He wrote that he’s grateful for the opportunity to have worked at the papers. No word yet on a possible replacement.
