AT&T Mobile Devices Are Set to Shop
Qpass and AT&T have signed a deal that allows AT&T wireless customers
to buy digitized content with Qpass.
Qpass, based in Seattle, will provide the commerce infrastructure for
transactions on AT&T’s mobile networks. To do this, Qpass will
integrate its Digital Commerce Service – what some newspaper sites
already use to sell content online – with its electronic wallet
As a result, subscribers to AT&T Digital PocketNet and AT&T WorldNet
will be able to purchase content, goods, and services using Qpass as an
alternative to entering credit card information for wireless
Qpass also provides customer service and account management, both
accessible through wireless devices.
