Redford Gets Ad Section on NYTimes

By: E&P Staff

NYTimes.com has launched another sponsored movie archive, this one for Robert Redford’s “The Clearing.”

The sponsored section includes 20 New York Times articles on Redford dating back to 1960, plus a look at his latest film. Normally available for a fee, the articles are free in this special section. Readers can also view a photo gallery, watch a trailer for the film, and buy tickets.

Previously, NYTimes.com created Sponsored Archives for “Lord of the Rings,” “The Dancer Upstairs,” “The Hours,” “Le Divorce,” and “In America.”

Correction: The original version of this story incorrectly stated that NYTimes.com had built a Sponsored Archive for “Being John Malkovich.”
