Reuters has announced that it has contracted with MediaSpan, a developer of digital content managment systems, to create a news publishing platform that will be deployed in the wire service’s bureaus around the world.
The new production platform will enable Reuters to produce multimedia news packages with text, graphics and video content in seven different languages. Reuters news is seen by over 1 billion people every day, and the system will benefit the 1,000+ customers who use of Reuters media, as well as more than 350,000 financial market professionals.
