Adicio, Carlsbad, Calif.-based developer of web-based classified advertising solutions, announced a new reverse-publishing feature for Adicio Careers 7.0. Reverse publication presents advertisers who are posting ads online with an option to also place their ad in print.
An integrated print and online solution, Adicio’s reverse-publishing feature allows advertisers to post employment ads online and in print in one seamless transaction.
“This will … provide an opportunity for our clients to earn additional revenue through online and print ad bundled packages,” Travis Fisher, Adicio’s general manager, careers, said in a statement.
If Adicio client advertisers choose to place a print ad along with the online ad, additional fields appear on the job posting page that define the print ad, including client soft keys, print classifications and descriptions based on client specifications and limits. A separate required field for contact information was added so clients don’t have to call to get proper contact information. Once an advertiser buys a print ad, Adicio generates a file that it drops to an FTP box for the client to pick up and import into the print ad system.
Reverse publishing beta clients have experienced as much as a 40% uplift from online to print, with the upsell typically representing $50-$100 in increased revenue per ad according to Adicio.
