News (web-width reduction and SLS1000 installation), The Daily Independent, Ashland, Ky. (conveyor), Southeast Kentucky Publishing, London (SLS1000 rebuild).
Gary White, plant manager in London, credited the SE OnSite team with “tireless” work and “excellent” follow-up on a machine that was “not even running when they arrived.”
At Freedom Communications, the Times News, Burlington, N.C., retained SE OnSite for a field rebuild of its SLS2000, The Gazette, Colorado Springs, Colo., had a SLS2000 conveyor rebuilt, the Gaston Gazette, Gastonia, N.C., contracted for an SE OnSite web-width reduction and SLS1000 conveyor rebuild,

The inserter at Gannett’s Fort Collins Coloradoan is running better since the cut down, according to Production Director Jerry O. Quinn, who said in a statement that “net speeds are up by around 20- to 25%, especially on Sunday, which we insert live. The cut down was a non-event from our standpoint.”
