A short animation promoting the “Jeremy and Mom” collection of “Zits” comics can be seen on the Web site of Andrews McMeel Publishing.

The book, which AMP released last month, includes more than 200 comics with a mother/son theme culled from 10 years of “Zits” episodes.

“Zits” is by Jerry Scott and Jim Borgman of King Features Syndicate, which distributes the strip to more than 1,500 newspapers.

Scott also does the “Baby Blues” comic (with Rick Kirkman) for King, while Borgman also draws editorial cartoons for The Cincinnati Enquirer and Universal Press Syndicate. Universal is a sister company to AMP.

The animation, from Jantze Studios, can be seen by scrolling down a little on the Web page here.
