“Opus” cartoonist Berkeley Breathed will appear on “America’s Most Wanted” on April 7, according to Washington Post Writers Group (WPWG) Comics Editor Amy Lago.

The episode of the Fox-TV show focuses on the unsolved 1979 “Book of Days” murder of Michael Cahill in Austin, Texas.

While a student at the University of Texas in Austin, Breathed’s duplex was burglarized by a man presumed to be the same person who killed Cahill. He, like many others burglarized, had a photo in the 1978 “Book of Days” calendar.

After graduating from UT, Breathed went on to create the Pulitzer Prize-winning “Bloom County” comic that WPWG syndicated from 1980 to 1989.
