SME to Manage Salt Lake Dailies’ Inbound/Outbound Calls

MediaOne, the joint operating agency for The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News and producer of other publications, Web sites, events and creative services, awarded a service contract to Strategic Marketing Enterprises to manage circulation inbound customer service calls. SME also will manage specific outbound programs designed to increase subscriber retention.

Call center services will be provided by SME’s Caribbean-based partner, KM2 Solutions, providing more than 20 years’ experience with professional, accent-neutral staffers at an economical rate, according to SME President and CEO Stacy Begal.

“With SME, we’ll improve our customer service levels by utilizing the most advanced technology, dedicated professional support staff and a highly skilled management team,” MediaOne Circulation Senior Vice President Kelly Roberts said in a statement, adding that SME’s resources exceed those “we could provide with our internal call center.”
