‘Spider-Man” Creator Stan Lee to Speak at National Press Club

Stan Lee — creator of Spider-Man, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and other iconic comic-book characters — will give a luncheon speech April 21 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Lee has written “The Amazing Spider-Man,” the newspaper-comic version of his web-slinging creation, since 1977. The strip is syndicated by King Features.

Lee’s upcoming talk was mentioned on Mike Rhode’s ComicsDC blog.
