Storm Kills Power to ‘Trentonian’ Production Plant

Production of The Trentonian in New Jersey’ capital was interrupted June 24 by loss of electrical power at its production plant when the same powerful storm that delayed the Indians-Phillies ballgame, a few miles south in Philadelphia, sent rain, hail, high winds and lightning across the lower Delaware River.

The paper apologized to readers for missing papers and for its telephone service, which was out of the next morning.
