The South Florida Sun-Sentinel of Fort Lauderdale introduced a sealed Sunday insert package this past weekend in the west Boca Raton area. The new project collates and seals all advertising inserts, coupons, Sunday comics, and USA Weekend magazine into a single plastic package.
Sun-Sentinel Senior Vice President and General Manager John McKeon said the paper is only the third in the country to offer this service. The project is designed to improve convenience for readers and accuracy of delivery for advertisers.
The sealed packages will be rolled out in phases with all Sunday papers receiving the sealed package by Jan. 4.
