The Sun-Times News Group has created a new Web site that enables Chicagoans to search for housing for free, the Sun-Times reports.
SearchChicago.com/homes is the latest of a trio of Web sites with the
address SearchChicago.com that were unveiled to help consumers search for jobs and new/used cars.
The housing Web site uses photos and videos of new and used homes in
northeastern Illinois and northwestern Indiana to help house hunters in
their search. The site narrows the results by county, neighborhood, ZIP
code, price range, and even bedroom and bath amenities.
In a statement published by the Sun-Times, Cyrus F. Freidheim Jr., the CEO of the Sun-Times Media Group, called SearchChicago.com ?one-stop shopping for people in Chicago and surrounding communities who are looking for necessities of life?jobs, homes, and transportation. Users will have the advantages of our broad classifieds listings across the more than 90 newspaper titles that make up the Sun-Times News Group.?
