Sun-Times News Group Launches Auto Site

The Sun-Times News Group launched an auto Web site ( with the inventory of more than 110,000 new and used automobiles from 540 local dealerships and other listings.

The site is free and searchable by make, model, price, type of car, or specific dealers. Sellers can place ads in print and online. In addition to dealer ads, the database contains listings from the Chicago Sun-Times and more than 90 daily and weekly suburban papers owned by the company.

?The addition of autos is an important step in building the family of products,? said John Cruickshank, Sun-Times Media Group vice president, publisher and COO, in a statement.
