Looking for a space more suited to the size of its staff, the Tahoe Daily Tribune, South Lake Tahoe, Calif., has put its building on the market.
In an item posted over the weekend on the Tribune‘s website, General Manager Kimberly Kuntz explained that the building was constructed to house editorial and business offices, as well as the production and mailroom departments, and for some time served as a central printing plant for all of Swift Communications’ area newspapers. But production consolidation in recent years at the group’s plant in Carson City, Nevada, has left fewer employees in the building.
Kuntz assured readers the paper is neither closing nor cutting back days of publication.
