Proofing solutions developer Tansa Systems, Lakewood Ranch, Fla., has released a Workgroup Edition of its Text Proofing System.
This hosted version of the company’s text-proofing toolkit targets smaller dailies, weeklies and magazines unable to afford the standard enterprise solution, according to the company.
Tansa will host the Workgroup Edition server application software at its data centers, which clients will access via Internet connections. The online version will be available to publishers with up to 25 named users using Adobe InCopy, InDesign, Word, QuarkXPress or Quark CopyDesk.
The U.S. version of Text Proofing System 3 uses Webster’s New World College Dictionary (4th edition) and the AP Stylebook. Users also will be able to customize their publications’ dictionaries.
