Tansa Systems, Lakewood Ranch, Fla., signed a licensing agreement with John Wiley & Sons, publisher of the Webster’s New World College Dictionary. Now in its fourth edition, it is the dictionary chosen for use by The Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post and other news organizations.

The agreement allows Tansa to use the complete and up-to-date spelling and word-choice information as part of the text-proofing solutions the company delivers to its U.S. customers, who also may elect to add the spelling and style information contained in the AP Stylebook to their Tansa Text Proofing System, thanks to an agreement signed in 2006 with AP.
