Taradel Tool Enables ‘Washington Post’ to Deliver Inserts Online

To offer advertisers compelling marketing online resources, flyer printer Taradel LLC, Glen Allen, Va., entered a self-service print-and-deliver” partnership with The Washington Post that enables advertisers to target, print and deliver inserts directly to homes straight from the Post Website.

“With the recent economic crunch, national chains and corporations are reducing ad spending,” Taradel CEO Jim Fitzgerald said in a statement. “Previously unattainable market share is within reach as a result …and small-business owners are taking notice.”

Founded in 2003 to supply small-businesses with self-service ordering options for flyers, brochures, postcards and direct-mail marketing services, Taradel says it has grown rapidly in recent months.

The online tool was developed to provide affordable customized insert advertising, according to the Post. Now live, the advertising tool combines consumer databases and streamlined print operations to enable advertisers to deliver full-color glossy flyers to targeted homes for as little as 9¢ each.
