Newspapers at several groups have begun using e-Services for e-tearsheets, e-invoices, and e-editions from Presteligence, North Canton, Ohio.
At GateHouse Media, The Independent, Massillon, Ohio, and The Times-Reporter, New Philadelphia, Ohio, launched Adinfinitum electronic tearsheets and invoices for advertising clients and already reports high usage. Both follow another Ohio Gatehouse title, The Repository, in Canton. All cross-sell ad insertions into one another, and can more easily view each other’s digital publications.
The papers also have converted their Newspaper in Education program to Presteligence My News…On the Go e-editions, no longer distributing print editions to schools. The e-edition allows teachers to integrate newspapers with technology on a more frequent basi whereas hard-copy distribution was often limited to a day or two per week.
Also implementing Adinfinitum and My News…On the Go were Schurz Communications’ Petoskey (Mich.) News-Review and six Paxton Media papers in North Carolina: The Herald-Sun, Durham, The High Point Enterprise, The Sanford Herald, The Enquirer-Journal, Monroe, The Daily Courier, Forest City, and Lenoir News-Topic. For the Paxton sites, Presteligence and MediaSpan are integrating Adinfinitum and Advertising ManagerPro.
The Wyoming Tribune-Eagle, Cheyenne, also opted for My News…On the Go as its e-edition platform, with the first promotional efforts aimed at snow birds and areas where delivery is becoming costly.
