Susan Nicholson, who does the “7-Day Menu Planner” weekly food column, is marking her 10th year with Universal Press Syndicate this month.
The Atlanta resident and registered dietitian began the column for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 1995. Since 2004, Nicholson has also done a second weekly column called “Double-Duty Dinners” that provides readers with a dish that can be used for a second meal later in the week.
Nicholson — who formerly owned a microwave specialty store and a cooking school — is the author of “Save Your Heart With Nicholson: Six Easy Steps to Cooking Delicious Healthy Meals in a Microwave.” And she’s a founding member and past president of the Atlanta chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier, a society of female culinary professionals.
The “7-Day” column runs in more than 70 U.S. publications.
