The 70th Anniversary for ‘Prince Valiant’ Comic

“Prince Valiant” turns 70 today, according to The Comics Reporter blog.

The lavishly illustrated Sunday adventure comic — set in the time of King Arthur — was started in 1937 by Hal Foster. It was later passed on to other people, and is now done by Mark Schultz and Gary Gianni of King Features Syndicate.
