A story about older workers in The Journal of Financial Planning’s July issue mentioned an episode of “The Elderberries” comic.
In the strip, a character is shown reading a newspaper article about a 100-year-old man who still stocks shelves twice a week in a San Francisco grocery store. Another character says: “Maybe he’s just a very energetic senior.” A third character says: “Or maybe he had the same investment planner I had.”
“The Elderberries” is by Phil Frank and Joe Troise of Universal Press Syndicate.
