The Oklahoman in Oklahoma City, Okla., has launched a new online shopping channel with technology from Travidia.
The site, shopping.newsok.com, features print display advertisements, special sections, Travidia Media Mall ecommerce platform, and content from participating retailers in Travidia?s Syndicated Marketplace program.
“Travidia’s technology is allowing us to extend the reach and effectiveness of our clients’ advertising,” Kelly Dyer Fry, general manager of NewsOK.com, said in a statement. “Print advertisers have long had an interest in reaching online audiences, and now with Travidia, The Oklahoman can provide this much sought after feature.?
NewsOK.com is a partnership between The Oklahoman and CBS affiliate KWTV NEWS9.
