The Record’s Travel section won gold for Best Newspaper Travel Section – for the fourth consecutive year – and was the only paper honored in the category. “It’s no surprise that Jill and the Travel section have been judged the best in the nation again,” said Marc Schwarz, Assistant Director of Features for The Record. “Jill consistently produces unique reports from around the globe. She won prizes for coverage that ranged from a trip to Colombia to a New Jersey road trip to consumer topics such as a winter survival guide and how the rising cost of gas affects travel.
