Bill Dedman has been named managing editor of readership for The Telegraph in Nashua. N.H., effective Oct. 5.
Dedman, 44, a Pulitzer prize-winning investigative journalist, currently works as a correspondent and full-time consultant for The Boston Globe.
Before joining The Globe in 2001, Dedman held reporting and supervisory positions at The Chicago Sun-Times, The New York Times, The Associated Press, The Washington Post, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Knoxville (Tenn.) News-Sentinel, The Chattanooga (Tenn.) Times, The Chattanooga (Tenn.) Free Press, The Blue Springs (Mo.) Examiner and The Warrensburg (Mo.) Star-Journal.
He succeeds Nick Pappas, who was promoted to editor in chief in July.
