Three upcoming “Peanuts” exhibits have been announced by the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, Calif.
One is “The Trouble with Kites,” which focuses on Charlie Brown’s struggles with flying kites. It runs from May 17 to Sept. 11.
Another is “Woodstock: Small is Beautiful,” which spotlights Snoopy’s feathered friend. The June 3-Oct. 23 show will be held in conjunction with Santa Rosa’s “Summer of Woodstock,” a public-art event featuring 100 Woodstock statues placed throughout the city.
A third exhibit is “Face-Off: Charles M. Schulz and Hockey,” which runs from June 28 to Oct. 2. The late cartoonist enjoyed playing hockey from his boyhood in Minnesota through the rest of his life. “Face-Off” focuses on “Snoopy’s Senior World Hockey Tournament,” which Schulz founded in 1975 and is still played every year at his Redwood Empire Ice Arena in Santa Rosa.
