Vertical Hubs Replace Pathfinder Portal

Time Warner’s much-anticipated entertainment site is expected to launch today.
Entertaindom.com will be the first Time Warner site to be launched since the media powerhouse revamped its Internet strategy and declared the end of its Web portal Pathfinder, CNet reported

In April, Warner Bros. Online pitched a new strategy that would consist of five separate ‘vertical hubs’ covering news, finance, sports, lifestyle, and entertainment. Warner Bros.’s Entertaindom.com is the first to be officially launched.
Time Warner reportedly will use content from Time magazine and CNN on the news hub and the financial vertical will carry features from Fortune magazine and CNNfn. Both are under development.
