Titan G60 Inserters Lead Recent K&M Sales

For their new production plants, The Paducah (Ky.) Sun and Lynchburg (Va.) News & Advance purchased Titan G60 inserting systems from K&M Newspaper Services, Monroe, N.Y.

The Paducah Sun will install an 18-station Titan G60 with a single-gripper delivery and Miracom Controls, K-Track press conveyor, distribution and floor conveyors, TMC inkjet labeling and K-Wrapper bottomwrappers.

The News and Advance will use a dual-delivery (one gripper, one K-Track belt conveyor), 28-station G60 with Miracom controls, K-Track press conveyor, distribution and floor conveyors, and a waste-handling system.

Maryland Pennysavers, in Hanover, ordered three 1372R inserters with Miracom controls and inkjet labeling.

K&M performed inserter relocations and rebuilding for the Visalia (Calif.) Times-Delta, The Journal News, White Plains, N.Y., Indianapolis Star, Utica (N.Y.) Observer Dispatch, Comprint, Laurel, Md., The Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, and Danville (Va.) Register & Bee.

Danville also received Image RTX inserter controls, as did the Jonesboro (Ark.) Sun and Albany (Ore.) Democrat Herald.

K-Track conveyor systems were sold to the San Francisco Examiner, Public Opinion, Chambersburg, Pa., Indianapolis Star, The Journal News, White Plains, N.Y., Hometown Newspaper, Howell, Mich., Visalia (Calif.) Times-Delta, Transcontinental Metropolitain Printing, Montreal.
