Transcontinental Among Q.I Press Controls Customers on Three Continents

Q.I. Press Controls announced at the Drupa trade show in Germany that if booked orders exceeding 7.3 million euros.

IDS markless color controls for 25 towers were sold to Transcontinental (nine for its new plant near San Francisco and eight for Montreal operations) and to Freie Presse, Chemnitz, Germany. Both customers ordered the controls for their manroland Colorman XXL presses.

Another large order was placed for IRS closed-loop register control on 40 towers bound for Jagran in India.

The new Dutch company’s new mRC markless register control has already had a huge impact with sales for 22 towers at Edda Trykk, Stokke, Norway, and for 12 towers at NSTP in Kuala Lumpur. Datagraf, Auning, Denmark, is adding a full control and reporting package from Q.I. Press Controls to its heatset press, which will include mRC, IDS and the IQM (Intelligent Quality Management).
