Transcontinental started reorganized it division serving one-to-one advertising and other new communication platforms.

Marketing Communications Sector will focus in database analytics, premedia, e-mail marketing, one-to-one marketing, customer communications and the printing of marketing products.

“Our strategy will generate further growth by strengthening our core businesses and building new sources of revenues,” Francois Olivier, president and CEO of Transcontinental, said in a statement. “Transcontinental is an outstanding printer and a highly creative publisher, and by delivering marketing solutions to our clients on a range of platforms, we further fulfill our primary mission: to help our customers continue to reach their target consumers.”

Olivier will serve as the president of the new sector as the company searches to fill the position permanently.

Additionally, Hans Nielsen has been named president of Transcontinental Direct U.S.A. He replaces Rob Young. Guy Manuel, president of the former marketing products and services sector, will be leaving the company at the end of the year.
