The Chicago Tribune’s Triblocal is launching its fifth weekly print edition on June 12 in Naperville, Ill. The newspaper will be distributed in copies of the Chicago Tribune and will provide hyper-local content mostly from the community. The accompanying Web site is specific to Naperville.
“Naperville is one of the most important cities in Illinois, and it deserves special attention,” Jane Jensen, general manager of Triblocal, said in a statement. “This new print edition is an important part of Triblocal’s ongoing efforts to provide complete coverage of Chicago’s suburbs by letting local residents better engage in their communities.”
Triblocal was formed in April 2007 is the Chicago Tribune’s community news and advertising service.
