Lee Jones has been appointed to vice president of Eastern Region Sales for Tribune Media Net, effective Aug.17. His duties will include leading the sales activities of TMN’s New York office and managing a number of sales teams focused on national advertisers.
?Lee is an experienced sales executive with an extensive background in news and information publications,? Dana Hayes, Tribune Media Net senior vice president/sales and marketing, said in a statement. ?His leadership and close national advertiser relationships make him an ideal choice for managing TMN’s largest region.?
Since 2001, Jones has been the vice president/publisher of G+J USA’s Inc. magazine. Before that, he worked as vice president/publisher of Smart Business for the New Economy. He also has served in senior management roles with Entrepreneur Media, Newsweek, and Hearst Business Communications.
