A tribute to cartoonist Hal Foster will take place this Monday evening at the Schaumburg Township District Library in Illinois, according to the Schaumburg Review.
The library is also the site of an exhibit focusing on the work of Foster (1892-1982), who’s best known for creating the “Prince Valiant” comic still syndicated by King Features.
Foster also worked on the “Tarzan” strip.
The exhibit — which runs through August — is being put on by collector Sid Weiskirch of Skokie, Ill.
