I have watched journalists bash Trump since day one. I have read the most vile comments ever reported about Trump. It is about time journalists are smacked right back in the chops. This election proved one very important lesson. Journalists are not as smart as they thought they were.

The mainstream media once again proved itself completely inept by overestimating people’s capacity for critical thinking and basic decency. To all you journalistic traitors out there, the American people have put you on notice! We don’t believe the mainstream corporate liberal media elite! We believe teenagers in Macedonia!

Sadly E&P seems to fall into the basket of liberal journalism the Trump rightfully decries. After more the 35 years in journalism, thankfully at the small community newspaper level, it saddens me to see the blatant bias of the national media. And equally sad is the fact that you just don’t get it, you are so guilty of unbalanced reporting you don’t even realize it when you see it. By the way, it works both ways, Fox is equally guilty on the conservative side. And our industry is puzzled as to why the public doesn’t trust the media, well duh!

People want the news presented and opinionated just as they already believe. Forget objectively.

As we embark on an era of the Bufoon in Chief.
