Two Print-On-Demand Books Feature Universal Comics

By: E&P Staff

In May, Universal Press Syndicate announced a print-on-demand partnership with Now, the first two books resulting from that partnership are available.

One — titled “Circling Normal, A Book About Autism” — describes “Clear Blue Water” cartoonist Karen Montague-Reyes’ real-life experience raising an autistic child, as explored in her Universal comic strip.

The other collection — “‘Come Here Often?’ Bad Pickup Lines and Other Dating Atrocities” — is from “The Fusco Brothers” cartoonist J.C. Duffy of Universal.

The Universal-Lulu partnership, reported on in a May 3 E&P Online story, is designed for books that would not otherwise be acquired by Andrews McMeel Publishing, a sister company to Universal.
