USA Today is now offering an electronic replica of its print edition via NewsStand Inc. of Austin, Texas.
The downloadable electronic editions offer the complete print layouts plus digital enhancements such as keyword search, direct jumps to sections, and zoom-in capability.
A single copy may be purchased for 50 cents, while a 13-week subscription costs $39 — which is identical to the print rate.
NewsStand now provides the technology for over 50 digital editions. Its primary competitor in the U.S. market is Olive Software.
