USA Today has updated its iPad Application to include the paper’s Life section crossword puzzles and its new Money section financial tools for managing portfolios and stock quote lookups.
USA Today counted more than 800,000 iPad app downloads since it launched in April. The app features the paper’s familiar look and design to provide eye catching photos and graphics while delivering the latest USA Today content.
The new crossword and financial tool enhancements roll out alongside third-quarter advertising partners Barnes & Noble, Capital One, Coca-Cola and Jeep. Gannett’s PointRoll subsidiary supplies rich media advertising for the app.
The USA Today iPad app is available free from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
