Vertis Communications has named Michael DuBose chairman and chief executive of the company, effective immediately.
DuBose was previously as senior advisor at Aurora Capital, and was the chairman of Anthony International. Before that, he was president, and CEO of Aftermarket Technology, and CEO of Grimes Aerospace Company. He has also been an executive at SAIC, General Instruments, and General Electric Company.
“I am excited about joining the talented team at Vertis and about the robust product and service capabilities at the company,” said DuBose in a statement. “I believe that focusing on our customers, supporting our employees, and investing in our business, will strengthen Vertis? position as a value-added partner with our customers and a leader in communications services.”
DuBose replaces Dean Durbin, who had been chief executive since February 2006 and president since November 2004.
