Crisp Wireless, which powers rich-media mobile ads for national mobile sites and apps, and Verve Wireless, the mobile publishing platform for local media, are partnering to bring Crisp’s rich media mobile ads to Verve’s global local media and newspapers.
Verve Wireless’ network of more than 700 newspaper publishers in the North America and Europe now support Crisp’s rich-media ad formats both within applications and on the Web. Verve publishers will utilize Crisp’s ad formats and interactive features, such as location-awareness and click-to-call, and will be able to deliver campaigns to smartphones and tablets, including Google Android devices and Apple’s iPhone and iPad.
“Mobile is an ideal medium for local advertisers. With the Crisp platform, Verve can easily create and deliver campaigns that leverage mobile-appropriate ad formats like location-aware ads and ads that initiate a phone call to the local merchant,” Crisp Wireless Chief Revenue Officer Tom Foran said in a statement.
Crisp’s mobile ad platform enables creation, management, tracking and measurement of mobile campaigns for publishers and advertisers. Crisp Wireless rich media ad formats include expandable, location-aware, tap-to-video, interstitials with embedded video, and ads with social-media capabilities. Crisp also features Adhesion fixed-placement ad technology, which runs on mobile and desktop Websites across smartphones and tablets.
