Never mind all that sky-is-falling nonsense you’re hearing about digital media reeling from the same crushing blows as their traditional big siblings: Vox and Mic are here to tell you that times for pureplays have never been better.

Certain “headwinds” notwithstanding, Vox Media’s president, Marty Moe, said Wednesday at the Collision conference here that the tailwinds are much stronger for “better positioned” companies like his. That position comes from a combination of quality content, scale and a nimble embrace of viable new platforms as soon as audiences start to migrate there.
