An 8,000-word Washington Post Magazine profile of “Doonesbury” creator Garry Trudeau is available via a special three-month link starting today, according to Universal Press Syndicate.
The October 2006 article was written by Gene Weingarten, who does a humor column syndicated by the Washington Post Writers Group. His piece covers Trudeau’s life and career, and the cartoonist’s recent efforts to spotlight the recovery process of wounded soldiers via his B.D. character.
“Doonesbury” appears in about 1,400 newspapers via Universal.
