It’s not an easy market even for large syndicates, but the medium-sized Whitegate Features Syndicate recently reached its 20th anniversary.
WFS Manager Mari Howard told E&P that the Providence, R.I.-based company has continued to attract and keep newspapers clients because of such factors as low rates, well-edited copy, and a variety of offerings.
Among them are features covering gardening, cooking, travel, music, movies, crafts, psychology, and other topics.
“We’re happy to be here after 20 years,” said Howard.
