The Star-News in Wilmington, N.C., was hobbled on Wednesday when a computer virus caused delivery delays.
The unknown virus made it impossible to print some pages, with other pages appeared incomplete. The weekly arts and entertainment section that disappeared from the Wednesday edition will appear in Friday’s paper. The comics, weather, puzzles, and stock listing pages were also affected.
The majority of subscribers did received their paper, though in a note to readers, the paper apologized for the edition’s “rough appearance” and the lateness.
