The Berkshire Hathaway-owned Business Wire (BW) is raising funds for children’s charity in an unusual way.

At the Berkshire annual meeting this Saturday in Omaha, Neb., a pack of six trading cards will be sold for $10 to attendees. Proceeds benefit CASA for Douglas County, Neb.

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates for abused and neglected kids.

The cards picture people such as Berkshire head Warren Buffett and BW President/CEO Cathy Baron Tamraz, as well as quotes and BW statistics.

BW, which was bought by Berkshire in 2006, distributes content to customers that include newspapers.
