The Washington Post has consolidated its online video journalism at one, centralized Web location, launched earlier this month.
The page, available at www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/mmedia/documentaryvideo, hosts video from 2000 to the present, offering a comprehensive library of the Post’s video documentary coverage.
“Most people don’t know that we do video which is a continual source of frustration for us,” John Poole, a senior multimedia producer and video journalist for washingtonpost.com, said about the site’s launch. He added, “Once they’re off the front of the site, or the front of the sections, they were not easy [to find].”
Poole was recently named White House News Photographers’ Association television editor of the year.
