WSJ Mobile Aims for Breadth and Depth

Mobile isn’t everything; it’s the only thing. Mobile now dominates digital news reading, crossing the hump into the majority mode of access to most national news products this year. Consequently mobile now dominates strategy and development. And The Wall Street Journal is now launching a new mobile app, What’s News, into the digital digest market that heated up so in 2014 and 2015 and where NYT Now, The Economist’s Espresso, Yahoo News Digest, Quartz and others are already selling their wares.
