The Wall Street Journal Online has won its second Codie Award for best online news service, and the Online Journal’s Health Industry Edition won best online science or technology service for the third consecutive year.
The yearly Codie Awards, sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association, recognize achievements in software, education, technology, and digital content in 63 categories from approximately 1,000 nominees.
“We are delighted to have won the prestigious Codie Award in two categories,” Todd Larsen, president of consumer electronic publishing at Dow Jones & Co., which publishes the Journal, said in a statement. “The fact that the Wall Street Journal Online and its Health Industry Edition have sustained their winning positions in each of these categories shows that we are continually providing new, innovative, and creative ways to deliver the best business news to our subscribers.”
