With its new look and trimmer size, The Wall Street Journal launched a branding campaign featuring the ?life journeys? of such people like Tiki Barber, Alice Waters, and Sheryl Crow.
?The Wall Street Journal campaign creatively illustrates the life journeys of a diverse group of people who are icons in their fields ? whether in sports, entertainment, business or the arts ? and shows how stories in the Journal have relevance in their lives,? said Ann Marks, chief marketing officer for Dow Jones & Co., in a statement.
The ads with the tag, ?every journey needs a Journal? will run in Sports Illustrated, People, Esquire, Time, Newsweek, and SmartMoney, as well as online at AOL and Yahoo and in newspaper including the Chicago Tribune and Washington Post.
Mcgarrybown advertising agency created the ads. The online banner ads and interactive Web site was developed by T3.
