YOUR NIGHTLY ‘E&P’ VIDEO: A Hip-Hop Parody — Pimpin’ with ‘Citizen Kane’

By: Greg Mitchell

Whether you are still at the office trying to meet a late deadline, or merely working/relaxing/wasting time at home, we thought you might enjoy a little break every night with a short video. So watch this space every night or early morning. We will post music videos but also some newsy or comedy stuff. You can send along your own picks to the e-mail address below — and please let us know if you like this new feature.

Our latest offering (following yesterday?s selection of wacky TV spots for newspapers) is sort of a Part II to our earlier clip from the classic ?Citizen Kane,? which featured Orson Welles as Hearstian publisher Charles Foster Kane deciding to have ?fun? with newspapers. But today’s special is a goof.

In this hip-hop parody, Kane decides to become a ?playa,? and he certainly has enough money and women to be ?pimpin? with his newsroom home boys.

Call him “Scoop Dogg.”
