It may shock many to know that the so-called “faux” pundit, Stephen Colbert, was one of the few who correctly picked all five top Academy Award winners last year. He even got “Crash” right (a title which may now refer to Bill O’Reilly’s recent appearance on The Colbert Report).

Still, it doesn’t top Colbert’s performance as Gregory Peck in a fake Oscar telecast — I’m too lazy, you can find it on YouTube yourself.

Looking ahead to his predictions this year: Will he give some love to former bud, Steve Carrell, and “Little Miss Sunshine”?

Anyway, here is a re-broadcast of Colbert’s re-broadcast of his winning Oscar picks 2006.

By the way, it’s probably time to tell us how you think Your Nightly Video is working as it enters its second month. Write gmitchell@editorandpublisher. com. Thanks for watching.
